Born in Bilbao in 1976, moved to Murcia in 1989 and now in Madrid since September 2004. Rubeck started back in 1999 as an electronic music project centered in experimental electronic stuff. From the very first moment I started working with visual artists for very different works: installations, video art, fashion showrooms… (artists: José Morraja; Raquel Meyers; Marisol Simó; d.vein) In 2005 released ‘Save the robots’, a demo in a much more Elektro style which made possible the first Live appearance in the MID-E electronic arts and fashion event (www.mid-e.com / Yo no soy lo que se dice) From that moment on, there’e been a great interest in rubeck’s music and DJ Sets touring almost all over Spain and playin in the Beniccasim International Music Festival (FIB).
Now under Magnilia Digital Music Label rubeck appears in the single ‘The First Theory’ remixing this track by Abstract Future. Download available at www.beatport.com (search artist - rubeck) and very soon the track ‘Eat The Beat’ by rubeck plus ‘Eat The Beat (I-B remix)’.
